RETURNED SOLDIERS' ASSOCIATION

JUVENILE EVENING. A "juvenile evening" was held on Saturday night under the auspices of the Returned Soldiers' Association, when the sops and daughters of returned men were responsible for the programme which was presented. All the children performed creditably, and the numerous items were thoroughly appreciated by the large audience winch wag present. The following was the programme: — Piano solos—Misses Pat Johnston, Molly Perens and Margaret Guy ton; songs— Master Trevor Larson and Misses Race and H. Race; recitations—Misses Doreen Bloxham and Natalie Connor, and Masters Trevor Larson and Kevin Connell; Highland fling, Miss Dorothy Baxter; Irish jig, Miss Millie Baxter; sailor's hornpipe, Miss Margie Baxter.
