The reports from the woodwards in reference to the sick members were favourable. The sum of £25 9s from No. 2 Surplus and £2O (death claim) were passed for payment to a deceased member’s relatives. One candidate was initiated into the Order by the C.R., P.C.R. Bro. D. Mercer taking the second part. The S.C.R., Bro. W. H. Patton, welcomed the new brother with the Foresters’ toast. One proposition was received for next court night. The C.R. gave the toast to the visitors, P.C.R. Bro. J. Smith responding on behalf of Court St. Andrew. It was decided to open the court at 7 p.m. next meeting night, as it will be P.C.R. Bro. Brettell’s surprise evening.
