The head teacher at Papaka'io applied for renovation work at the residence.—lt--was decided to carry out certain interior work at a cost of £l7, and repairs to the-' paths. .' . • It was decided to find half cost of top;' dressing the asphalt at- the East Taieri" School.—The committee also' applied for' 1 the interior-painting of -the school. —The architect reported • that the' school con- ' sisted of three rooms and was constructed of-brick finished inside with plastered walls and'steel ceilings.
