THE MAIN BODY N.Z.E.F. REUNION

TO THE CDITOE. Sir, —The Main Body, N.Z.E.F., reunion to be held in Dunedin on September 29 comes at an appropriate time, as it will be 20 years on September 22 since that body of soldiers left Port Chalmers. I would like to suggest to those in charge of the reunion that each man’s name and regimental number should be taken with a view to their publication in the daily papers. The public would be very interested in this function if this idea were carried out, and as the Returned Soldiers’ Choir is now well in the limelight a little publicity for the old “ Diggers ” of 20 years ago would do no harm. Good luck to the Main Body boys for a pleasant reunion, and the same to the Returned Soldiers’ Choirs fiftieth concert. —I am, etc., Lotai. Dunedtxite.
