The British War Office has not yet come to a decision to move Woolwich Arsenal to Wales or some other less vulnerable spot! Lord Hailsham, the Secretary of State for War, gave the assurance in a letter to Sir Kingsley Wood, the Postmaster-general, although he stated that the problem was being reviewed. Sir Kingsley, who is M.P. for West Woolwich, had asked Lord Hailsham for a statement on the question. “ The time has come again for one of the periodical reviews of the problem,” Lord Hailsham’e letter stated. “That is all there is to it, and there is no question •of our having come to a decision to move the arsenal to Wales or anywhere else.”
