NEW ZEALAND’S FIRST TALKING PICTURE.

The producers of New Zealand’s first story talking picture, the title of which has not yet been selected, have approached Mr P. H. Lampen to assist them in getting in touch with many of New Zealand’s leading amateurs. Mr Lampen has consented to give the benefit of his experience in this regard, as, having produced for so many societies.in the Dominion, he will be able to put them in touch with various types of artists throughout the country, thus obviating-in many cases a great waste of time. This must not be read, however, to imply that applicants will be selected on his recommendation alone, as doubtless;there are many potential actors and actresses in the making who will be suitable for film work, and only require to be found and subjected to a voice test, to be selected or classified for future productions.
