THE LEAGUE’S ' ACTIVITIES EXTENSION RECOMMENDED. ' GENEVA, May 11'.’ (Received. May 11, at 9.30 p.m.) ' Dr Eajchmann, the League’s technical agent in China, recommends an extension of the League’s activities there.including the improvement of. irrigation, agriculture and roads, and general reconstruction, preceded by co-ordination ■with the existing establishment. JAPANESE COMMENT ON REPORT. TOKIO, May 11. (Received May 11, at 11.50 p.m.) Commenting on ’•Dr Rajchmann’s voluminous report on- China to the League of Nations, the foreign spokesman said Rajchmann was in' the guise of a technical expert, but was nothing but a political' agent* and as a' result lie' was a'most unfortunate representative of - the League.; ■ ‘' The spokesman added that China had-bought - a large quantity of German aeroplanes, remarking, “You may judge of our attitude from ’my previous statement on China.”
