ACCIDENT WHILE RABBIT SHOOTING. (Feb United Pans? Association.) HASTINGS, May 7. Frederick H. A. Burling, aged 32, a farmer of Patoka, was seriously injure! this afternoon when a .22 rifle discharged and he received the bullet in the stomach. He was engaged in rabbit shooting ou his property at the time. He struck the ground with the butt of the rifle, which was discharged by the impact. The injured man underwent an operation at a late hour to-night, but his condition is still critical.
