M‘Kee presided over a good attendance of members. Accounts amounting to £2l 4s were passed for payment. One initiation took place under P.G. Bro. W. M'Bain as conductor and G.M. Bro. J. Dawson as lecture master. ft was decided that a delegation should meet the Otago district officers at Waikaka on May 12. Business of a routine nature was then transacted. It was decided that a letter should be written to P.G. Bro. Alexander Christie, sen., and family expressing the lodge’s sympathy in their recept bereavement. , The membership of the House of | Lords totals 708, including four rovd j peers, two archbishops, 24 bishops, 16 Scottish representatives, and IS Irish j representative peers.
