LOSING GROUND THE ANNUAL STATISTICS. ' LONDON, December 14. (Received Dec. 14, at 5.5 p.m.) The annual statistics show that the Church of England is holding its own. The number of church people over 18 oh the electoral rolls is 3,652,424, of whom 2,279,713 were Easter communicants. There were 406,069 baptis ns during the year. Sunday school scholars totalled 1,783,001, while voluntary contributions totalled £6,309,843, of which £1,177,967 was for the support of tn e clergy and £453,628 for missions.
