Hot summer weather was again experienced yesterday, with passing cloud and sunshine. The maximum temperature at mid-day was 77 degrees. A light north-east wind was blowing. CONDITIONS IN THE NORTH. A northerly breeze prevailed, freshening somewhat during the afternoon. The maximum temperature was 71.6 degrees. CHRISTCHURCH, December 13. To-day was fine with considerable passing cloud. A light south-west wind was blowing in the morning and a moderate easterly in the afternoon. The maximum temperature was 70 degrees.
