THE WEATHER
Hot summer weather was again experienced yesterday, with passing cloud and sunshine. The maximum temperature at mid-day was 77 degrees. A light north-east wind was blowing. CONDITIONS IN THE NORTH. (Special to Daily Times.) AUCKLAND, December 13. The weather continued very hot to-day without any indication of an earlv change. The wind was again a light northerly. The thermometer registered 80 degrees in the shade at mid-day. WELLINGTON, December 13. The weather was rather cloudy in the morning, but for the most part was again fine and warm. A northerly breeze prevailed, freshening somewhat during the afternoon. The maximum temperature was 71.6 degrees. CHRISTCHURCH, December 13. To-day was fine with considerable passing cloud. A light south-west wind was blowing in the morning and a moderate easterly in the afternoon. The maximum temperature was 70 degrees.
