A JAPANESE PLANE LEAFLETS DROPPED ON CITY. LONDON, September 23. (Received Sept. 24, at 10 p.m.) The Peking correspondent of The Times says that for the first time since the truce a Japanese plane circled Peking to-day, dropping showers of leaflets containing an ultimatum to Fang Chen Wu to leave the demilitarised zone before September 26, otherwise the Japanese Army will launch a punitive expedition without further warning.
