TERRORISM IN BENGAL
STEPS FOR SUPPRESSION APPEAL TO ENGLISHMEN (United Press Association.) (By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) CALCUTTA, September 13. (Received Sept. 13, at 9 p.m.) The Indian Chamber of Commerce has taken the first step towards a campaign throughout Bengal to fight terrorism. It urges businessmen to rouse the public to fight the menace and is appealing for the co-operation of the Government in attaining this “ genuine, spontaneous end.” It also appeals to all Englishmen to join in the mobilisation, of public opinion.
