" I saw several people hand lum slips of paper, which lie put in a perambulator containing a baby," said a policeman, when Thomas Edward Wallen, aged 31, was fined £5 at Maesteg, Glamorganshire, Wales, for street betting- . l-lic policeman slated that a parcel containing a bet-recording clock and a betting-slip bag wore found in the perambulator. It was added that it was an entirely' new method of betting.
