CURFEW IN SOFIA

SUPPRESSING TERRORISM HOUSES RAIDED BY THE POLICE (United Press Association.) (By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) SOFIA, June 25. The police are raiding houses and seizing quantities of arms. Several people are believed to have been shot. The inhabitants of Sofia and the principal towns are confined to tfieir homes following a midnight curfew. The authorities are vigorously suppressing terrorism by rival Macedonian groups. The Chamber approved of the death penalty for organised attempts of murder. Trams, trains, and telephones are suspended. Journalists are restricted in their activities. DICTATORSHIP PROBABLE. LONDON, June 26. (Received June 26, at 9.30 p.m.) The Daily Telegraph's Belgrade correspondent says: "No telephonic communication is possible in Bulgaria. A state of siege has been proclaimed in Sofia, which is cut off from the world, the Government being determined to put down the rival Macedonian organisation. Troops and police searched almost every house and cafe in the capita] during the night and many arrests were made, while a large quantity of arms was confiscated. It is rumoured that a dictatorship will be proclaimed." HUNDREDS OF ARRESTS. SOFIA, June 26.
