NEW SILVER COINAGE
SPECIAL DOMINION ISSUE NEGOTIATIONS WITH ROYAL MINT. (Per United Press Association.) WELLINGTON, June ID. Negotiations between the Government and the Master of the Royal Mint regarding a special New Zealand coinage have been concluded, and the Government is awaiting the report of the special committee recently appointed to assist it in completing schemes for the issue of New Zealand coinage. The special committee may place before the Government proposals for making a change- in the present monetary system.
