The Orepukl, which arrived at Dunedin yesterday from Wellington, is timed to sail at 11 a.m. to-day for Timaru and Lyttelton to complete loading for Wellington, Napier, and Gisborne. The Klnl, which was loading at Greymouth yesterday, will complete at Westport to-day for Lyttelton, Oamaru, and Dunedin. She Is due here on Sunday, and will load general cargo early next week for Westport. The Calm is due at Dunedin to-morrow morning from Bluff to load general cargo. She is timed to sail to-morrow evening for Wellington, Picton, and Wanganui, via ports. The motor vessel Holmglcn is now due at Dunedin to-morrow from Wellington to load general cargo. She is timed to sail to-morrow evening for Wanganui, New Plymouth, and Port Waikato, via ports. The Holmdalo Is due here to-morrow morning from Wellington to discharge and load general cargo. She will sail to-morrow night for Wellington, Picton, and Wanganui, via ports. _ The Gale has been fixed to load at Dunedin on Friday for Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, and Wanganui. The Storm will load at Dunedin on June 27 for the same ports. In the course of her Homeward loading movements the Canonesa Is now due at Wellington ou July 4. She. will sail finally from Wellington on July 6 for London. The Canadian Cruiser has been further delayed and was to leave Wellington yesterday for Auckland. She will leave Auckland on June 22 for New York, Boston, and Montreal. The coastal tanked Paua, which arrived at Wellington on Sunday from southern ports, will lay up for overhaul at Wellington. Towards the end of her overhaul she will probably be placed in the floating dock. The. Shaw, Savlll liner Tamaroa arrived at Wellington on Saturday from Port Chalmers to complete Homeward loading. She Is scheduled to clear Wellington finally at 7 a.m. on June 24 for Southampton and London, via the Panama canal. The Federal Company advises that the Cornwall was unable to work at Wanganui roadstead last Thursday owing to heavy weather. She Is now scheduled to clear Wellington finally at 7 a.m. on Thursday for London, Avonmouth, Liverpool, and Glasgow. The Rotorua was due at Auckland yesterday from Wellington to complete discharge. Hpr loading ports are Auckland, Opua, Tokomaru Bay, Napier, and Wellington. _ , The tanker Pulpit Point arrived at Lyttelton on Sunday from Wellington to discharge motor spirits. She Is to sail later for Townsvine. The Bank Line motor ship Speybank, which has been Idle in the stream at Auckland since June .1 waiting for orders, sailed on Saturday for Queensland to load a cargo of sugar tor Europe. TANKER NSW ZEALAND. The tanker New Zealand, from San Pedro, via northern ports, arrived off the Heads late yesterday afternoon. She will enter port this morning and berth at the Victoria wharf to discharge bulk motor spirit. f MATINGANUI LEAVES PAPEETE. The Union Company’s K.M.S. Maunganul, en route from San Francisco, left Papeete on Saturday for Rarotonga, Wellington, and Sydney. She is due at Wellington on June 26. CARGO FROM AUSTRALIA. The Waikouaiti Is to load at Newcastle about June 24 and Sydney on June 27 for Bluff, Dunedin, Timaru, and Lyttelton. TAINUI LEAVES SOUTHAMPTON. The Talnul, with passengers and cargo on board, left Southampton last Friday afternoon. She Is due at Wellington on July 24. THE CANADIAN CHALLENGER. The Canadian Challenger is scheduled to arrive at Auckland to-morrow from Montreal, via Brisbane. The vessel has cargo for discharge at Auckland, Napier, Wellington, Wanganui, and Lyttelton. MONOWAI AT VANCOUVER. The Union Company’s liner Monowal, from Sydney and Auckland, arrived at Vancouver last Friday morning. She will leave Vancouver to-morrow for Honolulu, Suva, Auckland, knd Sydney, and Is due at Auckland on July 9. OTAKI AT LONDON. The Otakl, which left Wanganui roadstead on April 29, arrived at London on the morning of June 15. THE CANADIAN CONSTRUCTOR. The Canadian Constructor, en route from Montreal, arrived at Panama on June 8, and sailed on June 9 for Wellington, via Australian ports. THE CANADIAN HIGHLANDER. The Canadian Highlander Is scheduled to leave Montreal on June 29 for Auckland Wellington/ Lyttelton, and Dunedin. She Is due at Auckland about August 8. ! WAINUI FROM MELBOURNE. The Union Company’s steamer Walnut arrived at Dunedin early this morning from Melbourne, via Bluff, and was berthed at the Cross wharf to discharge general cargo. She will sail about noon to-day for Lyttelton and Wellington to complete discharge. The Walnul will then go to Oamaru to load horses, and then to Bluff to load general cargo for Melbourne. PERSONAL ITEMS. Captain W. Summers Is In command of the Akaroa, which is due at Wellington on June 23 from Southampton. Captain Summers is well known In these waters, as at one time he was in command of, the Arawa, Talroa, and the old Mamari. He was more recently In command of the " Bay ” vessels Mr B B. Low has joined the Maori as chief engineer, relieving Mr N. W. M’Murrlck. Mr W. J. Hill has been engaged as extra officer on the Wingatui. Captain C. B. Lamb Is in command of the Rotorua, which was due at Auckland yesterday from London and Wellington, and his officers are;—Chief, Mr B. Evans; second. Mr W. J. Glassborow; third, Mr N. Baddeley; fourth, Mr H. U. G. Hastings, chief engineer, Mr G. Little; second, Mr W. Green; third, Mr C. W. Shepherd; fourth, Mr J E. M. Payne; chief refrigerating engineer, Mr S. P. Parrott; surgeon. Dr J. Cochran; wireless operator, Mr B. Lawrence; steward-ln-charge, Mr R. Swift. LONDON’S SHIPPING. During the six days ended April 13, 1.040 vessels, representing 806,393 net register tons, exclusive of those in ballast, used the Port of London; 384 vessels (628,638 net register tons) were to and from Empire and foreign ports, and 656 vessels (177,755 net register tons) were engaged In coastwise traffic. Seven vessels discharged meat cargoes In the Port of London during the week; four from Australia and New Zealand, the s.s. Mongolia, Maimoa, Otlra, and Otranto, and three from South- America, s.s. Duquesa, Rodney Star and Highland Brigade. Altogether 142,000 carcasses of lamb and mutton, .14,000 quarters of beef, quantities of pork and rabbits, and approximately 57,000 packages of sundries, were distributed to the London market and throughout the country or placed Into cold storage.
