CONSERVATIVES RETAIN SEAT' (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, June 15. The by-election at Altrincham caused by the elevation of Mr C. Atkinson, K.C., too be a High Court judge, resulted:— Sir- Edward Grigg (National Conservative), 25,392. P. M, Oliver (Liberal), 15,892. J. H. Hudson (Labour), 8333. Mr Atkinson was returned unopposed at the general election.
