BALCLUTHA DISTRICT NEWS (From Our Own Correspondent.) BALCLUTHA, June 16. CLUTHA POULTRY SHOW The annual show of the Clutha Poultry, Pigeon, and Canary Club was opened in the Band Hall to-day, and will be continued to-morrow. Entries number over 300, which is a substantial increase over those of last year. The poultry was judged by Mr R. C. Wilson, of Invercargill, and the canaries by Mr R. Sinclair. Everything is exceedingly well arranged in the main hall, and* the canaries are located in the balcony. The show was opened by the Mayor (Mr D. T. Fleming) this afternoon. The president (Mr G. W. Guest), vicepresidents, and committee have done everything possible to make the show a success, and in this no small part has been borne by-the capable secretary (Mr Hugh Bower).
