THE WEATHER
After heavy rain on Wednesday night the weather was unsettled in Dunedin yesterday. A light south-west breeze was blowing and periods of sunshine were experienced. The maximum temperature was 45 degrees. The barometer rose steadily all day, and registered 30.50 last evening. CONDITIONS IN THE NORTH. (Special to Daily Times.) AUCKLAND, June 15. The weather to-day was unsettled with heavy showers in the morning, but it cleared at mid-day. The afternoon was fine and sunny, with a light south-westerly wind. The barometer is rising. . WELLINGTON, June, 15. Cold, wintry weather was experienced in Wellington to-day. A biting southerly brought 'frith it frequent showers of rain. A shower of hail fell during the morning. CHRISTCHURCH, June 15. To-day vans showery with a strong breeze from the south-west and a temperature of 45 degrees. The barometer recorded 30.31 at 5 p.m. and was rising.
