A STRANGE CULT

astonishing revelations DEATH BY MENTAL SUGGESTION. VANCOUVER, April 27. A cult believing in death by mental suggestion was revealed in a suit in which A. H. Barley sued Aime de Valdez, head of the Aquarian Foundation, for 14,000 dollars. R. M. Pointer, a former member, told the court that Aime de Valdez from London had written to him to kill the Attorney-general (Mr Booley) by exercising mental suggestion on him. Mrs Mary Connolly was awarded two islands used by the sect, for which she had paid Aime de Valdez 35,000 dollars. She swore she was yoked to a plough and forced to scrub floors.
