DESTROYED BY FIRE

WELL-KNOWN BOARDING HOUSE. (Per United Press Association.) TAUMARUNUI,' April 28. Waimana House, a well-known hoarding house near National Park Station, was completely destroyed by fire this afternoon. The outbuildings and cars were saved and also a detached structure used as bedrooms. Only a little .of the furniture was saved. A bucket brigrade endeavoured to cope with the flames, but the heat was too intense and a strong Wind was blowing.
