A Missionary Information Sunday will be observed in Knox Church, when the Re.v. E. A. Bastin of China will apeak in the morning. The Rev. D. C. Herron will conduct the evening service, and will preach on “The Miracle of Christianity in India. 1 * Harvest thanksgiving services will be held in First Church to-morrow, when the Rev, W. Allen Steyely will preach- ■ His subjects will be, Morning, “Instead of the Thorn"; evening, “Harvest Customs.” Miss Evelyn Shepard will sing “ With Verdure Clad ” from Haydn’s “Creation.” . Dr Galwpy will be the organist. The Rev. Leslie B. Neale will preach, at the Methodist Central Mission to-mor-row. His evening subject will be “ Man,”-' and the soloist at this, service will be , Miss Phyllis West. The morning service for the children at i the United Congregational Church, : Albany street, to-morrow will be an illustrated address on “Hands" by the Rev. James M. Smeeth, whose Subject for the adults will be “ The Lord of Hosts.” At the evening service, when Mr Irwin Douglas will be the soloist, his subject will be “Three Great Songs.” An interesting series of meeting will be directed at the Salvation Array, Dqwling Street Fortress. Lieutenant Saunders wijl be the speaker at the morning holiness meeting. "In the afternoon the “ Power of the Gospel in Kenya,” illustrated by lantern slides, will be the subject of an address by Mr Blaikie. Adjutant Thomas will speak at the evening meeting, which will be broadcast from 4YA. ' ■, . , . At the St* Baida Methodist Church the Rev. Percy Paris will preach in the morning on “ The Proof of Faith,” and in the evening on "The Rejected Crown." The choir will sing Hudley Buck's anthem " The God of Abraham, Praise.” t =. At the Maori Hill Presbyterian Church the services will be conducted by the Rev. A. C. W. Standage, the subjects being “ Making the World*, More Christian”• and “The Power of Personal Religion." Mr G. Densem will conduct the morning service at Trinity Methodist Church,' Stuart street, to-morrow, and in the even-,; ing the Rev. H, B. Bellhouse will be the preacher, taking as his subject “The False Gospel of Expediency." Miss', Helen Roy tyill sing the ■ solo, “ With Tired Hands," and the choir'* v?ill render the anthem, “Round About the Starry Throne.” At the Hanover Street Baptist Church, the Rev. E, S, Tuckwell will preach in the morning on “No Compromise," and in the evening on “ The Withered Hand." The anthem will be " 0 Lord, stretch Forth Thy Mighty Hapd,” and the soloist will be Miss Hazel Walker. The Rev. Albert Mead' will conduct the services at the Moray Place Congregational Church. The subjects of his addresses will be “The Gospel of Life" and “ The Real Issue Before the Church," morning and evening respectively. "Travels In Classic Lands" _is the title of a lantern lecture to be given by Miss M. B. Joachim before the Classical Association in the Museum lecture room, to-morrow pyeping, at 8 o’clock. _ The association invites all who are interested. ■ At the Theosophieal Hall to-morrow evening Mr J. Mac Ewan will take as his subject, “ Treasures in Heaven.” First Church of Christ Scientist will conduct services in Allbell Chambers, ' 95 Stuart street, to-morrow. The subject for the morning and evening services will be “ Everlasting Punishment.”
