JEHOL FIGHTING
THE JAPANESE FORCES POSITION MAINTAINED. TOKIO, March 16. (Received March 17, at 1.30 a.m.) The War Office officially contradicts reports of severe fighting at Hsifengkou. Despatches confirm that the Japanese forces are maintaining their position, but require reinforcements. They are not advancing beyond the Great Wall.
