the newly-formed auxiliary could not have chosen more capable officers than those elected. Competitions were drawn, with the following results:—Bed quilt, Mrs Barr (Central Otago); bed jacket, Mrs Paton (Dannevirke); baby’s set, Mrs C. Downes (Te Awarautu). UNEMPLOYMENT DEPOT. The committee of the unemployment depot met and disbanded on Tuesday, as it was considered that the depot was not now required. The goods and money in hand were transferred to the Salvation Army. ST. MARY’S MEN’S CLUB. A meeting of the St. Mary’s Men’s Club took place last night. Members were notified that the meeting night would in future be Tuesday instead of Wednesday. Mr Y. R. C. Wilson was elected to the committee. Competitions were held, and a demonstration of the first principles of’ boxing was given.
