A REMARKABLE SUCCESS SPEECH BY THE KING (United Press Association.) (By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) LONDON, December 25. (Received Dec. 2(5, at 10 p.m.) While their Christmas dinner was digesting British listeners heard the 8.8. C. Empire broadcast, which preceded the King’s message. Reciprocated messages of goodwill came from Cardiff, Edinburgh, Belfast and Dublin, then from the liner Majestic, which was nearing New York, then a series from Canadian towns, after which came Wellington, Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.
