(Received Dec. 26, at 11 p.m.) Official circles in Delhi state that the Anglo-Persian oil dispute has taken a turn for the better. There is reason to hope that it will bo settled amicably without the intervention of i the League. The tone of the diplomatic exchanges has returned to a normal friendly character, and the anti-British demonstrations in Teheran have ceased. PERSIAN MINISTER DISMISSED. TEHERAN, December 25. (Received Dec. 26, at ill p.m.) Abul Hussein Teymourtasche, who is the Shah’s right-hand man and the Court Minister responsible for the AngloPersian oil dispute, has been dismissed. It is reported that the ; Shah is dissatisfied with Teymourtaache’s handling of the oil question.
