ACTIVITY IN CHINA DESIRE TO OVERTHROW GOVERNMENT. LONDON, December 16. The Riga correspondent of The Times says that Soviet newspapers, commenting on the restoration of Soviet-Chinese diplomatic relations, emphasise the importance of Chinese co-operation with the Soviet in the Far East, but Pravda also uses the occasion to review Communist activity in China, declaring that the Red detaehments are progressing greatly in various parts, and that the Chinese Communist Party is mobilising the masses and rallying the whole of China for the overthrow of the Kuomintang and the establishment of a Soviet Government in China.
