ERNEST DRAKE’S RECITAL

In accordance witli the traditions of the Yulctide season Mr Ernest Drake is giving a recital, the proceeds of which are to be given to the Rev. Bryan King’s Christmas Cheer Fund. Appropriate music will be sung by Mr Drake’s student choir, and the 30 soloists will render items ranging from ballads to grand operatic selections. A special feature of the concert will be the reappearance of Lex Macdonald after Us tour of the South Island. He will sing solos and carols with the choir. The whole programme appeared in last Saturday’s issue. The box plan is now open at the Bristol.
