(Received Dec. 15, at 7 p.m.) At the end of the third day’s play in the billiards test the total scores were:— Australia and New Zealand 7560 England 7834 In the afternoon session Limjlrum scored 948 against Newman’s 289, and M'Conachy 319 against Davis’s 1014. In the evening session the scores were: Lindrum 540, Newman 818, M'Conachy 510, Davis 779. RUGBY LEAGUE MATCH PLAYED AT NIGHT. (United Press Association.) (By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) LONDON, December 15. (Received Dec. 15, at 8 p.m.) A Rugby League night match played on the flood-lighted White City ground, to see how Londoners were likely to patronise the game, attracted 10,000 spectators. Leeds beat Wigan by 18 to 9 in a fast game. Mason, the New Zealander, was included in the Wigan side.
