IT IS HEREBY PUBLICLY NOTIFIED that, owing to the death of Mr James Horn, a Vacancy has been created on the Otago Education Board for the Central Ward, and that the ELECTION to fill the said Vacancy will be held on FRIDAY, January 27, 1933. NOMINATIONS OF CANDIDATES for the Vacancy will be Received up till 5 p.m. on FRIDAY, January 6, 1933, Nomination Forms must be addressed “The Returning Officer, Box 423, Dunedin.” The members of School Committees in the Central Ward of the Otago Education District constitute the Electors. No person is eligible as a Candidate for Election unless he is Nominated in Writing by at least TWO Electors, and the Nomination Paper bearing the Candidate’s Consent in Writing is received by the Returning Officer before the Nominations are Closed.
