A WIDER VISION NECESSARY. In a recent club address in London Sir Gomer Berry, a well-known selling expert, said:— “ The full advantages of tariffs can best be achieved by the use of advertising, which is the great and essentia] force to assist the producer in securing home demand and export trade. Urgent need for economy is in everybody’s mind at the present time, but it is only by means of advertising that trade can be expanded. A wider vision of to-day’s problem would not result in the restriction of advertising expenditure.”
