EXPERIMENTAL STATION EXPERTS SAIL FROM ENGLAND. LONDON, July 10. Headed by Dr Edward Appleton, a party of British wireless experts lias sailed for the North Polar regions to spend a year in maintaining the first Arctic radio experimental station. The party includes a young Australian named G. Buelder, who for the greater part of a year will be in sole charge of the key of the receiving station at Tromso. Dr Appleton, M.A., D.S.C., F.RIS., has been Wheatstone Professor of Physics at the University of London since 1924. He is a member of the Radio Research Board and chairman of the British National Committee for Radio Telegraphy.
