The Bank Line motor ship Speybank arrived at Auckland last Thursday from Nauru Island with a full cargo of phosphates for discharge at Auckland and Wanganui. The Norwegian tanker Thelma arrived at Auckland on Friday from Ballkpapan. The vessel has a full cargo of bulk petrol for discharge at Auckland and Wellington. The Shaw, Savlll, and Albion steamer Raranga, which left Wellington for London and west coast ports of Great Britain on May XB. is reported to have reached Avonmouth on July 4. MONOWAT LEAVES SAN FRANCISCO. Cabled advice has been received by the Union Company that the liner Monowal left San Francisco last Wednesday afternoon for Papeete, Rarotonga. Wellington, and Sydney. She is due at Wellington on July 25. THE PORT WHANGAREL Advice has been received that the motor ship Port Whangarel Is expected to leave Sydney for Auckland and other New Zealand ports on July 16. The vessel was formerly the steamer Marlon Sleigh, and she has been converted Into a motor ship since she was purchased by Captain A. F. Watchlln. NORFOLK LEAVES MONTEVIDEO. The Norfolk, which left Wellington on June 15 for Southampton and London, sailed from Montevideo on July 6. OTAKI LEAVES LAS PALMAS. The Otakl, which left Wellington on May 25 for London, sailed from Las Palmas on July 5. HAURAKI TO TRANSHIP SOUTH ISLAND CARGO. The Union Company’s motor ship Haurakl, I which is due at Auckland on Thursday from Los Angeles, will tranship cargo for Lyttelton and Dunedin at Auckland. She will proceed to Wellington and Australian ports. THE CANADIAN HIGHLANDER. j The Canadian National steamer Canadian Highlander was due at Wellington yesterday from Montreal and Auckland for both discharging and loading. She was to sail again last evening for Lyttelton. Dunedin, and Bluff, thence via Australian ports to New York, Boston, and Montreal. CARGO FROM LONDON. The Port Fremantle, which Is scheduled to leave London on September 28, will discharge cargo at Suva, Lyttelton, Dunedin, and Bluff In that order. CHANGE IN GODLEY HEAD LIGHT. The secretary of the Marine Department announces to shipping that the Godley Head light will he changed to an automatic flashing light on Thursday.

AUXILIARY SCHOONER HUIA. The Nobel auxiliary schooner Hula arrived in the Lower Harbour yesterday morning from Melbourne with a cargo of explosives. She sailed last evening for Greymouth, Westport, and Auckland to complete discharge. ARMADALE FROM NEW YORK. The New Zealand Shipping Company advises that the Armadale, from New York, via ports, is duo at Dunedin on Thursday to unload part cargo. < MATAKANA FOR AUSTRALIA. The A.C.L. steamer Fcrndale, which was wrecked near Algiers on June 17, will be replaced in the Australian trade by the Shaw, Savlll steamer- Matakana. The Matakana is scheduled to leave Hamburg on July 26 and London on August 2, and is due at Fremantle on. September 2, Adelaide September 7, Melbourne September 9, Sydney September 12, and Brisbane on September 16. The Matakana is at present en route to the United Kingdom from New Zealand ports, having left Montevideo on June 21. PASSENGERS BY THE RANGITIKI.
