OBITUARY
THE REV. H. W. BURGOYNE The death has occurred at Rotorua of the Rev. Henry William Burgoyne, a former minister of the Congregational Church, at the age of 83 years. In his early life Mr Burgoyne was connected with the Congregational Church at Morecambe, England. He came to New Zealand about 1890, and was for three years at Leith Street Congregational Church, Dunedin. Mr Burgoyne then took up school teaching among the Maoris, and was for five years at Te Kao, North Auckland. Subsequently he had charge of the Whakarewarewa School for 14 years.
