CONDITIONS IN THE NORTH. . (Special to Daily Times.) AUCKLAND, April 22. A light westerly .wind and fine clear weather prevailed to-day. The barometer was steady at SO.OOin after mid-day. WELLINGTON, April 22. The weather was fine to-day, but there was a strong north wind. In the evening light rain fell. CHRISTCHURCH, April 22. The weather to-day was dull for the most part and warm, the thermometer recording 73 degrees. The wind was light from the N.N.E., but freshened considerably at sunset. The barometer dropped to 29.45 in, but has commenced to rise.
