CONDITIONS IN THE NORTH. (Special to Daily Times.) AUCKLAND, January 10. . Ideal summer weather and a light variable wind continued until this afternoon, when the sky became overcast and threatening and light rain was experienced. The barometer, after falling since Friday night, registers 29.75 in. WELLINGTON, January 10. Yesterday was fine but overcast, with a strong northerly blowing. This morning rain fell, but it cleared about noon, when the wind rose again. The atmosphere has been ll Qjj^jg T cnUßCH, January 10. Yesterday was dull and overcast, with a sharp shower late at night. To-day was muggy, but the atmosphere was cleared by a shower in the middle of the afternoon. The barometer is low and falling, the reading being 29.20 in.
