CANADIAN DAIRYMEN

FAILURE TO IMPROVE HERDS KINGSTON (Ontario), January 6. The failure of Canada to keep up with New Zealand and Denmark in improving her dairy herds was impressed upon the annual convention of the Dairymen’s Association of Eastern Ontario to-day by Dr J. A. Ruddick (Dominion Dairy Commissioner). Dr Ruddick said that Canadian dairymen were laying too much emphasis on the exaggerated claims of the natural advantage in New Zealand, while failing to improve their own herds.
