FURTHER ORDER ISSUED HORTICULTURAL PRODUCTS. LONDON, December 29. (Received Dec. 30, at 8 p.m.) The first order under the Horticultural Products Emergency Customs Act, which will have effect from January 6, imposes duties on various fresh soft fruits when British fruits are available. These duties include 2s Cd a lb for early and Od for late strawberries, 3d for cherries, ■jd for gooseberries, 14s a cwt for plums. The duties also apply to fresh vegetables, salads, cucumbers, peas, new potatoes, asparagus (4d to Is per lb), mushrooms (8d per lb), and cut flowers (including mimosa, 2d per lb) practically throughout the year. The more expensive verities of cut flowers carry a duty of 9d per lb, and rose trees 30s per 100.
