MOSGIEL MUNICIPAL BAND

The concert given by the Mosgiel Municipal Band and friends on Sunday evening in the Coronation Hall was most enjoyable. The band selections were “Rustic Rambles,” “The Golden Age,” “The Celestial City,” and “On the Road.” Mr D. Fogarty favoured with some excellent tenor solos. Miss Bowler contributed some recitations, and Miss Alma received an ovation for her soprano solos. Mr G. Gibbons played piccolo solos, and Miss Kathleen Whelan was accompanist. The band items were conducted by Mr James White.
