DRAGS MASTER FROM FLAMES EXTENSIVE INJURIES SUFFERED. (Feb United Press Association.) WHANGAREI, July 13. Albert M'Askie, aged 69, living in a where, on a gumfield at Poroti, had a sudden seizure and fell into the fire. Hie dog, a halfbrecf retriever, dragged him from the flames, saving him from inevitable death. Though terribly burned M'Askie was able to summon help, and was conveyed to the Whangarei Hospital. Among other extensive injuries M'Askie’a right hand was charred to the bone, and amputation is probable.
