The Military Stores in Timaru have just received a large consignment of military clothing from the Defence Department, and this is to be sold throughout the Dominion at most attractive prices. Probably the most outstanding item on a long list of goods is the stock of greatcoats and officers’ coats in navy blue. These coats are noted for their warmth and wearing quality, and are safe investments for all who have to be prepared for bad weather conditions. Other items on the list are men’s and youths’ jackets, boys’ navy blue shorts, boys’ denims, men’s and youths’ denim shorts and denim trousers and jackets. Full details ns to prices, sizes, etc., are given in the_ advertised list on page 5 of this issue.— 21/1/31.
