THE TASMAN AVIATOR.

TOUR OF DOMINION: WELCOMED AT WELLINGTON. (Per United Press Association.) WELLINGTON, January 22, ■Mr Guy Menzies arrived at Rongotai Aerodrome at 10.20 a.ln., and was tumultously received by a large crowd. He flew his plane solo, Mr James travelling in one of, the two accompanying planes in charge of' 'Flight-lieutenant Mercer. The other plane was in charge of Flight-lieutenant Barlow, who was accompanied by Mr Blackiston, and two local planes escorted the flyers. These were piloted by F. J. M‘Donald and C. Waite. Mr Menzies received by the Mayor (Mr Troup) 1 , Mr J. 6. Cobbe (Minister of Defence), and Mr T. C, A. Hislop (president of,the Wellington Aero Club). In regard to the Tasman flight, Mr Menzies expressed the opinion that in 10 yeats everybody would be doing it.
