BBATTON.—At his residence, Waimahaka, on Monday, January 19, 1931, John Johnston, beloved husband of Anna Beatton; aged 75 years. “ A patient sufferer gone to rest.” Interred on Wednesday, 21st Inst, at the Fortrose Cemetery.—Traynor Bros., undertakers. CREGAN.—On January 22, 1931, at Somerset, Owaka, Kate, loved mother of Hugh Ayson, Palmerston North. Prank Ayson, Outram, and Mrs D. MACPHERSON. —On January 22, 1931, at Tumai, as the result of an accident, Duncan, beloved,husband of the late Jessie Macpherson; aged 7S years.
