LONDON, December 2T, (Received Dec. 22, at 5.5 p.m.) Mr Arthur Henderson (Foreign Secretary ), when broadcasting a long Christmas message to the’ United States, pointed out that the world’s choice lay between peace and war, between co-op-eration and conflict. It must choose now to avoid a universal cataclysm. Civilised governments had done much to promote peace, and if they were faithful to its cause it would prevail.
