TWO YEARS IN THE BORSTAL. (Pee United Press association.* WELLINGTON, December 2. Lewis Edward Williams, aged 21, stated to be in a good job, and earning £4 10s a week, got two years’ Borstal detention to-day from the magistrate (Mr E. Page), having failed to take advantage of a previous term of probation. He pleaded guilty to two charges of theft of £6 13s lid from John Craig Wright. It was stated that he had got into the habit of renting cars from Rental Cars, Ltd. Returning, one day, he saw the office open, with no one in it, and took 13s lid from the till, and on a subsequent occasion £6.
