PREVENTION OF EROSION. WORKING MODELS OF SPILLWAY. (Peh United Peess Association.) WELLINGTON, November 28. Before commencing the remedial measures recommended by Professor P. G. Hornell to enable the Arapuni power Plant .*?. resume operations, the Minister of Public Works (Mr W, B. Taverner) has decided that complete plans and efetimates must' first be made available. Work has been proceeding on these lines. , . One of the most interesting features is the consideration of measures to prevent further erosion of the country below the spillway dam, which will be one of the most expensive parts of the project.
