FORBURY PARK MEETING. The Forbury Park Club’s meeting will be concluded to-day, and with the weatheiset fair there is every indication that there will be a big attendance. The fields, with horses whose recent form suggests that they will race prominently, are as follow; — SUBURBAN HANDICAP. One mile and a-half. Biddy Parish .. scr Yds bhd Ette Bella .. scr Wally Bingen 12 Iwanta .. ..' scr Rapture ~ .. 12. Merrijigs .. scr All Thorpe .. 24 Patchwood .. scr Great Glee .. 24 Pattie Bingen scr Hydro ~ .. 60 Todd Lonzia .. scr Silurian .. 84 Welcome Guy scr Among the acceptors are several horses who were not started the first day, including Todd Lonzia, who is certain to be heavily supported. Welcome Guy was unlucky on Thursday, and with a better run to-day will be one of the hardest to beat. Iwanta, Wally Bingen, and Great Glee look the best of the others, and the favourites may be Welcome Guy, Todd Lonzia, and Iwanta. ADVANCE HANDICAP. One miie and a-half. Bonny Muir .. scr Scotty Bingen scr Black Watch act Willie Derby .. scr Ballade .... scr Yds bhd Molly Great Chenault 12 , Desborough scr Baby Joan .. 12 Emma Location .. 12 Harvester scr Locanda Lu ... 24 Madam Locanda scr Herod .... 24 Sunny Morn .. scr Holly Bank ~ 36 Herod won so well on Thursday that few are likely to look past him. He is a particularly promising pacer. Of those on the limit Black Watch will go a good race if he moves away with the field, but if he dwells two who are likely to .finish in front of him are Great Chenault and Baby Joan. The public’s choice may be Herod, Great Chenault, and Black Watch, EMPIRE HANDICAP. One mile. . . -Yds bhd Yds bhd Milo Minto .. ’2 Liberal .. 24 Bingen Patch 24 Mac Dillon .. 36 Brook" Pointer 24 Royal Comrade 72 Mac Dillon should be improved by his race onThursday, and Brook Pointer and Milo Minto look like giving ,hira the most trouble. Red Shadow, a first day’s winner, cannot be written out, nor can Real Girl, who meets Red Shadow on 12 yards better terms than when she finished second to him "on Thursday.’ .Sunranes, Nor’Wester. and Stella Bingen will be supported. but form points to Holly Band. Red- Shadow, and Real Girl. . FORBURY HANDICAP, Two miles. Morning Sun scr Yds bhA .Sunny Bob scr Erin’s Fortune 12 Wrackeen scr Great Logan .. 24 Yds bhd Avenger ... 24 Arikitoa .. 12 Grand Light 30 Steel All 1. . . 12 If Erin’s _ Fortune bits her hobbles quickly she will be prominent all the way. In fact, nothing appeals more than she does. Grand Light has been racing very consistently and is entitled to heavy support, while, many will be prepared to see Wrackeen finish in a place'.if she makes a good beginning. These three horses may be supported in the order named. - VICTORIA HANDICAP. Two miles. Fifa .... scr Yds bhd Yds bhd Surprise White Satin' .. 24 Journey .. 72 Kyra ~ .. 36 Stanley T. ..72 Trampcrlsp .. 48 Len Wood .. 96 The fact that Stanley T. was beaten on. Thursday is not likely to find him supported less heavily to-day.. There is no doubt that he is a brilliant trotter. Surprise Journey and White Satin will follow him in the order of favouritism. TAINUI HANDICAP, ! /■' • One mile and a-half. Alva, Lass .. scr Yds bhd Red Shadow .. scr Kelp. , ... .. 12 Imperial Bingen set Milo Minto .. 12 Lady Antrim .. scr Lily Harold .. 24 Roddy .. .. scr Sodium .. .. 24 St George .. scr Hostess .. .. 38 If Red Shadow happens to be reserved for this race the public will probably - not look past him in their search for the favourite, but in his absence they may make their choice from St. George, Kelp, and Hostess. 1 RECOVERY HANDICAP. One mile add a-quarter, John Jinks ..scr Yds.bhd. John Noble .. scr Nelson de Oro 12 Liberal ~. .. scr Delightful .‘. 24 Proud Dillon. scr Morning Sun 24 Sunchild .. scr Royal Comrade 24’ Warepa .. .. scr Free Advice ■'.. 36 Yds bhd- Logan Hanlon 36 El Direct .. 12 Talent ~ ,« 36 Jolly Chimes .. 12 . John Noble paced a fine race in the President’s Handicap on Thursday, and that form makes him look well placed here. Nelson de Oro, Delightful, and Free Advice make most appeal among the others, and the heaviest support may come for John Noble, Nelson de Oro, and Free Advice. TAKAPUNA JOCKEY CLUB. (Special to Daily Times.) AUCKLAND, November 28. The weather has been fine to-day, and as the reports indicate that the improvement is likely to be maintained, there now seems to be every likelihood of a fine day for the opening of the Takapuna Jockey Clubs spring meeting to-morrow. The course was reasonably dry to-day, and unless the weather breaks again it mav be, at the worst, a trifle dead, so that calculations should, therefore, not be upset. The various events are very open, but horses who may be fancied are;—Melrose Stakes—Operatic, Chief Joy, Gay Idea; Tiri ( High-weight Handicap—Glenstar, Luminary, Sleepy Sol; Borough Handicap—Tenakoe, Mosque, White Wings: Takapuna Plate—Havaspot, Sir Mond, Biddy s Boy; Alison Cup;—Sargon, True Blood, Eager Rose; Cambria HandicapTea Chat, the Princess Bede-Baroscope bracket, Hoihoma; Ponui Handicap—Sir Mond, Claremore. Manawhenua; Cheltenham Handicap—-Paganelli, Leitrim, Royal
