PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Dunedin District Drainage and Sewerage Board, at a Special Meeting convened for the purpose and held on Wednesday, November 12, 1930, passed the undernoted resolution by way of Special Order. Ahd Notice is Hereby ' Further Given that such resolution shall be submitted to an Ordinary Meeting of the said Board to be, held at the Town Hall, Dunedin, on'WEDNESDAY, December 10, 1930, at 7.25 p.m., for Confirmation as a Special Order. The Resolution is as follows; — “ Pursuant to the provisions of " The Dunedin District Drainage and Sewerage Act, 1900,” and its Amendments, the Dunedin Drainage and Sewerage Board hereby resolves, so that this • resolution may be confirmed at a subsequent meeting of the Board and operate as a Special Order in terms of Section 21 of the aforesaid Act, as follows, that is to say:—’ 1. THAT the said Board hereby resolves to rase a Loan of One Hundred Thousand Pounds (£100,000) being the first instalment of a sum of £250,000 for which the Board obtained statutory authority to borrow in terms of ‘‘The Dunedin District Drainage and Sewerage Amendment Act, 1930." 2, THAT the term of th'e said Loan of £IOO,OOO be fifteen (15) ■ years. .3. THAT the security for the interest and sinking fund and the repayment of the said special loan be a special annually recurring rate of One Penny Farthing (lid) in the Pound (£) on the rateable value (on the basis of the annual value) of all_ rateable property of the District comprising the whole of the City of Dun-' edin and the Borough of St. Kilda. 4. THAT a sinking fund of One Pound (£1) per centum per annum on the amount of the said Loan be. established in connection with the same. 5. THAT the said Special Loan of £IOO,OOO be. raised by the issue of debentures in the form prescribed hy the aforesaid Act and that each such debenture shall bear, interest at a rate not exceeding five and one-half per centum (5$ per cent.) per annum payable half-yearly in each and every year during the currency of such loan or until such loan is fully paid off, and that coupons be annexed to each such debenture accordingly. * 6. THAT the Corporate Seal of the Board be affixed to all such debentures and that all such debentures and coupons be signed by the Chairman and countersigned by the Secretary, but so that their respective signatures to the Coupons may be lithographed on the. coupons.” G.
