The Golf Council has elected Mr M. J. Crombie a member of the Appeal Committee in place of Mr Balneavis.

In view of the reply from the Australian Golf Union arrangements are to be gone on with for the KirlcWindoyev Cup tournament to he played at Shirley on April 14 to 17 of next year.

No reply has been received from the Royal and Ancient Club to flic inquiry whether it could permit the use of steeishafted clubs in New-Zealand.

The only application so far for the Now Zealand championships of Ifl.'lO is from Manawatn.
